Baggage- A familiar phrase used to describe women & children. Can also be used in combination with a descriptive word such as: wanton baggage
Ballocks- Man's testicles
Bamboozled- Trick or make a fool of
Bastard- Child of an unmarried woman
Bellows- Lungs
Bellower- Town crier
Bilk- To cheat
Blab- Tell a tale
Black & White- To have something in writing or evidence
Blast- to curse, such as blasted fellow
Blood- a disorderly fellow, runs with a fast crowd
Blubber- Cry
Blue Devils- depressed, sad, low spirits
Blunderbuss- A short gun or a stupid, clumsy man
Blunt- Money
Bluster- Talk big
Bore- A person who is dull & uninteresting
Bouncer- Big lie
Bran-Faced- Freckled
Bruiser- Boxer or one skilled in th art of boxing
Buff- naked
Buggy- one horse chaise
Bum- Your backside, not a polite term
Bye Blow- Bastard

Abigail- a lady’s maid
Against the grain- same meaning as today
Agog- to desire eagerly, anxious, impatient
Altitudes- drunk (He is in his altitudes)
Anglers- petty thieves who use a stick with a hook at the end to steal from shops, cart and such. Also can be meant as a person who sets one up to be robbed.
Ape Leader- an older woman mostly used in reference to an old maid.
Apothecary- a modern day pharmacist, few had any real learning and typically tried to sound like they knew more than they did, which led to the second use of the word to refer to someone who tried to sound like they were knowledgeable but in fact were not.
